ENG- BadChoices - We are very exited to work with Josse de Broeck (Familiar Faces) and Ana Lekse on this new project inspired by l'histoire du soldat by Igor Stravinsky and Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz. In this show, musicians and circus artists combine their skills and work together to tell this story in a way that has not been explored before. Since Stravinsky was a lover of violin, clarinet and piano, he has already transcribed some parts of L'Histoire du Soldat (originally for septet) for our instruments. We went further in this process and transcribed the rest of the music. We also give space to musical improvisation. This project is supported by RADAR Mechelen and the city of Mechelen.
